She's getting used to the camera, and knows what I want when I hold it 2 inches from her face! I'm proud to say that I'm actually taking this straight from the card, no photoshop, color correction or anything! (Note to all those "photographers" (i.e. Jame, Sherif, Al): I'm happy with thinking that I don't need to color correct the above pictures mentioned, so let me continue to think that way. End note.)
Alexa Elia's Baptism was on the 22nd of April at St.Ireneaus in Cypress.

She wore the same dress that Sam, Jess, Carla and Celisse were baptised in. Our little tradition in our family is to pass the dress down. I love the fact that my Grandma Cion bought this dress in Philippines and that it's been pasted down for the last 20 years. Especially since Sam her sister that is 9 years older wore it. We were a little scared that Alexa wouldn't be able to fit it, since she is a little chunky and close to 9 months at the time of the baptism. Sam was only 3 months when she wore it. I struggled a little with the top button, but she was fine!

Alexa didn't even cry when she had the water poured on her. She was so chill, which was nice. :)
We had her reception at our fave Chinese restaurant: LV Seafood in Lakewood. We absolutely love that place! There was so much food, and everyone enjoyed it. Gerome had me crackin up. He was trying to sit strategically at a table that he would get a lot of food. So he sat with the kids and teenagers. Little did he know that it was the same table as Jessica and Carla...the two people that ate at this restaurant tons of times in the past and knew about all the delicious dishes!!! Poor Gerome only got 2 crispy shrimps with walnuts. LOL! The baptism was a hit! It did rain at the end when everyone started to leave. But all in all it was nice to see everyone celebrate an important event.
ALSO...Alexa turned NINE months!!!!

We finally got a high chair-chair. It's a chair that connects to another chair....forget it! Basically now she can eat at the table with us, and we love it! Thank you Grandma Ely for that! It's really handy and convenient. We were feeding her in the bebe pod and she's getting so big that she can get out of it now. Not good when your feeding her...
A lot of the kids were there, including Charlize the cutie.
I missed Sam. She was not with us that weekend.
Ron and Paul took turns with the babies on the bjorns and beers. Freakin' hilarious!
It was fun. We watched the De la Jolla fight and won $20! Yeah!!! It was warm and really nice out that day. Alexa loves being outside. She's more at peace and not figity when we spend time outside. Camille had enough food to feed Lakewood, so I indulged in it all. It was so good that I knocked out when I got home. That's when you know you've had enough.
And now mother's day is coming up! I have no clue what to get my mom. She's so hard to shop for. And another important day...the 10th of May is when Paul proposed to me 3 years ago! Gosh...has it been that long? It really did go by fast. I can't believe that it's been that long! Our 2 year wedding anniversary is coming up on the 29th. I can't wait! Paul and I used to go to Universal Studios when we were dating and leave early, get there around 11am, down large Coronas, then ride the tram. It's such a different experience when your buzzed! ha ha ha It brought us good memories. So we've been talking about going again on our anniversary day which falls on a Tuesday. I think that I might feel too guilty to not bring the girls. But at the same time, I want to go on a date with my hubby. It'll be nice to have the day off with no responsibilities for a few hours :) I guess we'll see.
