Awwee.

Today Alexa got her ears pierced. Mind you, she is already 2-1/2 years old. Sam got her ears pierced when she was 2 months! Alexa had a very small eczema problem when she was younger, so the doctor advised not to get them in fear that she will scratch them. Paul was very hesitant taking Alexa to Icing in the mall where a teenager does it...so all this time it just never got done. Sooooooo, today we went to eat with my family and passed by Lens Crafters for my brother, Alex to get new glasses. We had a whole hour to kill before he can pick them up. Icing was in the mall and I saw a lot of mom's in line to pierce their daughter's ears. I decided that moment, that she was going to get them done. We talked to Alexa about earrings and how pretty she's going to be and convinced her to take the seat! I thought that she was going to scream bloody murder but she did quite well. Her reaction is hilarious to me. I can't believe that she didn't cry! I was so proud of her! We went straight to the Disney store and I had to get a little treat! She didn't even try to pull them out at all. All she did was point at her ears and say, "Awwee." and nodd her head.
