Halloween 2008

We spent Halloween Trick-o-Treating with our friends and all our kids.
Our wonderful friends, Audrey and Miguel, hosted the party and did a fabulous job with the photo op. in the entrance of their house that everyone took advantage of! The kids had a ball, especially Alexa. Alexa got a lot of attention with her peacock outfit and Sam was little red riding hood or how she says it, "Little Red riding from the Hood". I was so out of it this year. Paul and I didn't pick our outfits until 30 minutes before the party! I went as Gina Carano, female MMA (mixed martial arts) fighter who specializes in Muay Thai. NOBODY knew who I was except one person (Tony Manalaysay). Everyone else thought that I went as a boxer!Oh well...if you knew who she was, you'd be impressed! She kicks major ass. I love tough chicks like her. Believe it or not, that's all of my gear, except for the shorts...those are Pauls :) Best part about my costume was that it requires that I wear flip flops! Everyone else that had to where heels for their costumes were dying by the end of the night. Paul went as a Juijitsu fighter. I went through all our halloween costumes, but I was tired of wearing all the old stuff. I'm going to have to work on my next year's costume. Some theme that the whole family has to follow. There was a lot of that this year. A whole family of Incredibles and fairytale characters...I'm gonna have to think of something good next year.

Every husband's nightmare

...is a wife bringing home a crap load of paper, stickers, stamps and more!!! My awesome cousin Jamie is a celebrity scrapbooker. I love her so. She had promised her husband that she'd clean out some of her stuff and OF COURSE I was happy to help her out and take some of it off her hand. lol
I was proud of myself when I let Alexa take some of the stuff to make a page on her own. She had so much fun putting it all together and made me 3 pages! (Thanks Jame for all the stuff!) I'm so proud of my cousin and I. We haven't been the greatest at taken time aside to spend with each other and our kids. But we've seen each other twice in 2 weeks!
Alexa had her first play date with Elsie 2 weeks ago. The girls took a little time to warm up to each other but once it was time to go, they didn't want to leave. The last time they came by Alexa was just a little baby. I can't believe how much they've grown (<---why must I say that in EVERY blog entry). And check out the change in hairdos! Their facial expressions are hilarious!
