Sister-less for Easter

Alexa enjoyed her first Easter. But she was sister-less. Sam stays with her dad's family on Easter because there are a lot of kids on that side and it's quite "borrr-ring" (as Sam puts it) on my side. BUT...this year was different. Alexa celebrated her FIRST easter and the twins Bruce and Lee were there! They were pretty sad that Sam wasn't there. I didn't get to take as many pictures as I wanted because I was too busy stuffing my face with all the good food! My mom made all the dishes that my Grandma Cion normally cooks and it was too good to stop and take pictures!! LOL!
I managed to take a few good ones of Alexa and Uncle Sar outside. I got a really good one of her smiling! She has a habit of mad-dogging people so, smiley pics is all that I try to put up!

And Paul got some good ones of her crawling (or trying).
She's got rolls and rolls...I think that if she's gonna start crawling she's gonna have to left the knee up closer to her stomach. And with those rolls, who knows when that's gonna happen! lol. Don't get me wrong, I love the fatso-fatso baby thighs! The crawling or attempting to crawl is what cracks me the heck up!
She's getting much better at it now and I'm thinking that I've got to clear our bookshelves before she plays basketball with the books and the TV as the hoop! She already throws her bottle across the room when she's either done or tired of it. Paul and I hate it! Especially when were out and she chucks the bottle somewhere on the floor. Ugh...we hate it! Then she smiles...and we're not mad anymore...hee hee

Yesterday, I finally got her to go in the big tub! Yeah!!!
However my back is not so happy. She was scared of the running water, Paul had to help me get her two fatso legs through the leg-holes, and she was cold majority of the time. She's used to laying in a tub of warm water. I hurried it up, and after that we got all smiles!

8 MONTHS!!!

GEEZ...Time sure does fly. 8 MONTHS ALREADY and still too fatso to crawl! Oh well, we're not in any rush, seriously though...we aren't. Next thing you know she's going to be walking and I'm going to have to say "NO" or "STOP IT" or "BE CAREFUL!"...and those things I'm not quite looking forward to. Is that bad? I just want her to stay a fatso little baby girl is all. She'll only attempt to crawl for things that resemble food! (see pic of Turkey) lol. i love it.

Sammie feeds Alexa solids for the first time : )

Alexa knocked out on her exersaucer AGAIN...no wonder she's so fatso... : ) This is what we call "ASLEEP-CERCISE"!

Things with mycreativewedding are doing really well. We are getting orders after orders, which is nice since we've got that jam packed year of events. Today we booked our flight to Cancun for Eleanor's wedding. It's going to be so much fun! The whole family is going, including Alex, my mom and Jun. They love Eleanor, so it was an easy decision for them.

Posh Paper is keeping us busy : ) Can't wait for the baby catalogs to be complete!
Fun-Fun-Fun!!!

the BIRTHDAY...day

March 31st was Paul's birthday. And I would say that it was a success. We had a lazy morning start. We were suppose to go take Paul to Roscoes (even though Sam was the one who wanted to go there) for breakfast, but that never happened. Instead we took our time until finally we got ready to go to Fran's for Elijah's 4th birthday party. It was such a treat to see old friends and we really had a lot of fun. They had a pinata, really good artichoke dip that I bogarted the whole time, and a taco stand! Fran's always the best at really easy fun foods and entertaining. She has a beautiful house to do it in. All the kids love and expect the pinata and bouncer at her parties. Definately kid friendly. My kids love it there! I can recall Sam asking if we can go to Auntie Fran's for dinner! Can you imagine, Sam just inviting herself over there. It's the funniest thing to me.

Well, after the party, we rushed back to go out for Paul's outting. Which really was a treat for the both of us since it was our first time that we had been out together without children since MY birthday in Oct of 2006! Grandma Ely watched Alexa with the big help from big sister of course : ) And who doesn't want to watch this monkey of mine!
Even her feet is like the monkey's in her book! ha ha ha We had to take this picture! Seriously though doesn't her foot look EXACTLY like the monkey's?
HA HA HA!!! Too freakin' funny man!

We went to Spaghettini's in Seal Beach with our close friends and family: Camille, Ray, Mom, Jun, Lex, Lex's girlfriend Kasey (love her!), Pete, and Doug! It was a nice little group, and the band was so good. I'm definately going there again. My mom out drank me...lol...everyone was making fun! They took advantage of Alex being their designated driver!

After Spaghetini's, we ended up going to Shark's Club in Costa Mesa. Pete hooked up a table for us! Good lookin' Pete! We all had a really good time. And Doug hooked it up and DROVE our butts back to Long Beach...but that was not until we got our grub on at HG!!! What a night! We all had a really good time. Good friends, good times...

I missed my girls by the time I got back home. Sunday was spent dead on the couch with the whole family. Nice to soak that stuff in. : )
