2007 is jam packed!

These pictures of Alexa was taken on the 15th. This is what we get when we feed her...a big fat mess! She is easy to feed when Sam helps me get her attention to the spoon. She's better when she's really hungry, that's when she lovessss her cereal : ) I know that next week I'm gonna have to start her on a vegetable and I think that I'm gonna start with carrots! It's going to be carrots - peas - ummmm (ok, why am I blogging this?) After today I think that I'm gonna have to come up with some way to figure out feedings better. We were so used to just giving her a bottle and getting a break for 15 minutes! Now there are hardly any breaks. She only likes to take naps on your chest and won't go down for anything! So feedings really gave her dad and I a break. No more of that! This girl wants to eat! LOL!!!


Today I realized that this year is going to go by in the snap of my finger!

Last weekend Paul and I had a bridal show. Jess worked it. It was at the Bonaventure in LA.
It was ok. Not as crowded as the last one, but it seems as though I'm getting more appts.






We also didn't sleep on Friday night trying to complete a new display for POSH Paper.
What a weekend. I'm still trying to recover!






Brides...files...ugh.there's so much to do and so little time.
I'm super excited that things will get better for me, since I just picked up a new computer! I bought a G5 from a guy that wasn't even using it! All I need now is a monitor, and I've got to wait until the 5th to get that, but it gives me time to clean up my messy office for Paul to lay the floors and get this office going! : )

Just another night and tomorrow is just another day...Thank god tomorrow is Friday eve!

Do I really want to do this again?

Paul and I were thinking about getting (yes I'm gonna say the "p" word) PREGNANT!!! I know that I really wanted at least a full year break, mostly because I have a few weddings this year and I wanted to enjoy it. Does that sound bad? Oh gosh...what I would do for a beer in those 9 months! I mean, Paul really made it easy for me. He catered to me being pregnant and I enjoyed having an excuse for going through the B&J cartons in the middle of the night.
Eleanor and Shawne are getting married this August...IN CANCUN! I'm totally excited...but the trip is a little unexpected and traveling is not like it used to be. There's 4 of us now and the price for a vacation tripled from the single days : ) The other thing is that we'll be in Cancun for Alexa's 1st birthday...which is kinda cool, but I know that Paul wanted to celebrate with family. But at least we'll be with our close friends to celebrate.

DESIGN...CUT...PASTE...OH MY!

Today I called in PTO (paid time off) at my "real" job so that I can catch up with all my invitations that are due. This weekend Paul, Jess and I are working the Great Bridal Expo at the Westin Bonaventure and our display needs to be updated. On top of that we have a display due for Posh Paper and today I decided to make them a flyer to introduce our product to their customers. What a pain that was. I had them printed...paid for them...drove 15 miles to pick them up...drove back home...opened the package...AND WHAT DO YOU KNOW...I find a typo! ugh! Gosh, I swore that I read it like 10 million times before I sent it to print. I did it in photoshop so there isn't exactly a spell-check. So now I'm super frustrated, because I wanted to have it for them on Sat. and now I won't be able to. I'm pretty happy to have Posh Paper aboard and I hope that they sell a lot of invitations so that I can leave my day job.

The other day I was checking out Tom's site (www.filmmywedding.com) and noticed that he updated it and added some of my wedding video/pics on there : ) Tom's the best! I send all my brides to him and would stamp my approval on his stuff any day!

Hmmm...what else...
OH, today I swore that Alexa called out to me "mmmmmaahhhmmmmmm" . When she babbles it's mostly "daaaah daaah" but Paul doesn't get excited because he says that it's just babble and she really isn't calling him out....but still! Next week I'm gonna start her on vegetables...probably carrotts first. Bad eyes run in our family so I gotta start her early!

Welcome Baby Olivia!

One of my closest friends, Tina, just gave birth to Olivia Phan Santos. Such a sweet baby. Jessica baked cupcakes and I made the box and decorated : ) I don't remember Alexa that size at all. Gosh time flys...

Heart Day

On Valentine's Day Paul took his girls out to Rock Bottom for some yummy Chicken MacnCheese. That stuff is so good! Then Paul put the girls down and watched a video. Nice little night to spend with the fam bam : )
Today, we are going crazy meeting wedding deadlines. But busy is always better then not busy right?

blog world welcomes me....

so...ok...i've entered the "blog world". I've been thinking about avoiding it, mostly because i love writing, i love the differences in my handwriting when i'm happy, sad, mad...etc. But i guess with the changes to everything being electronic...i had to give in. so here i am. can't wait to be more consistent with alexa's moments and sam's journey to the world of boys and designer clothes (i never thought i'd sound so much like my mother!) and of couse the loving moments from my great husband paul, who by the way, has a lot to put up with...being that he's surrounded by females! : ) i can't wait to add pictures! looks like only some old ones for now. Just me, sam and paul road trip when alexa was still 3 months in the belly!
